1. Bukit Jambul
Bukit Jambul is the name of hill where there is a large banyan tree growing on the top of hill like crest so that the local people give it name as Bukit Jambul where Bukit is means hill, meanwhile Jambul is means crest. This place become famous because it was inspired by the most amazing scenery with rice terrace, winding road underneath and palm trees stretching to the sea. It is situated in the plateau area that is always covered by cool temperatures that make it as an ideal place for relaxation. Many tourists over stop at this place and enjoy the beautiful panoramic view.
2. Besakih Mother Temple
Besakih Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali which the local people call Pura Besakih. It owns beautiful view from the top of temple area where we can see the wide nature panorama until to the ocean so that way this temple is many visited by tourists from all over the world. Besakih Temple is located in Besakih countryside, Rendang sub district, Karangasem regency, east part of the island.
3. Batur Mount and Lake View
Mount Batur itself is actually just a small volcano, but sets in the heart of a huge crater 14km in diameter. Adjacent to the volcano is the large crescent-shaped Batur Lake, all surrounded by the high walls of the crater rim. nothing in the surrounding gray landscape of bushes and garden plots suggests the presence of a volcano.
4. Traditional Village Penglipuran
Penglipuran village is a beautiful highland village in the regency of Bangli in East Bali, best known for its well-preserved culture and village layout. While most of its residents have embraced modernity, its individual compounds are well-kept to look traditional with visitors in mind, with manicured gardens lining its single linear stone-paved street that runs through the centre of the village toward the village temple, and age-old arched entrance gates and walls that conceal their houses within.
5. Kanto Lampo Waterfall
Kanto Lampo Waterfall. It is located in the Village Beng, in Gianyar District, (12 kilometers). It is not the highest waterfall in Bali, but it is quite large and the water flows beautifully on the rock cliff and you can climb on the rock to take pictures. The river is not very deep but the water is cloudy so be careful as you cannot see where you step. The water flow can change depending if it rained the days before your visit.
As always when visiting a waterfall, don’t forget to bring a bag to put your wet swimming suit and replacement clothes. Surely you must bring a camera to capture these magical moments but make sure to protect it from the mist !
